Magnet Releasing’s genre arm has snapped up Leigh Janiak’s feature directorial debut in a deal with ICM Partners.
Honeymoon premiered at SXSW and stars Rose Leslie of Game Of Thrones and Downton Abbey and Harry Treadaway.
Janiak co-wrote the film with Phil Graziadei about newlyweds who travel to a remote lake as the wife begins to behave erratically.
Patrick Baker and Esmé Howard produced Honeymoon.
Christina Rogers and the Magnolia Pictures International team will be represent the film for sale in Cannes.
Magnet plans a release later this year and the film will also screen in Tribeca.
