Magnolia’s genre arm Magnet Releasing has acquired US rights to Independent Film Company’s horror Storage 24, starring Noel Clarke.
Magnet will release through the distributer’s Ultra VOD program, debuting on all video on demand platforms on December 6th, followed by a theatrical release in early January.
The warehouse-set monster horror, directed by Johannes Roberts, has sold to ICO in France, Klockworx in Japan, Lark Films in Hong Kong, Bir Film in Turkey, HGC in China, Focus & Company in Korea and IPA in Thailand and Vietnam. Universal releases in UK, Germany, Benelux, Scandinavia, Australia and India.
“We are thrilled to be partnering with the Magnet team” commented Manu Kumaran, CEO of producer Medient, adding: “Storage 24 has been well received in Europe and Asia, and we are confident that fans of the genre will greatly enjoy our version of a monster movie.”
”Storage 24 will be a real delight for monster movie fans,” said Magnolia president Eamonn Bowles. “It delivers scares in spades.”
