Comedy A Bag Full Of Hammers premiered at SXSW and stars Jason Ritter, Jake Sandvig, Chandler Canterbury and Rebecca Hall. The story follows two misfits who form an unlikely family when they encounter an abandoned child.

Brian Crano directed and co-wrote with Jake Sandvig and producers are Peter Friedlander, Lucy Barzun Donnelly and Jennifer Barrons. Esparza negotiated the deal with Friedlander and Donnelly.

Carl Bessai’s thriller Repeaters stars Amanda Crew, Dustin Milligan and Richard de Klerk and centres on three young people who find themselves trapped in a time tunnel and develop divergent views on how best to use their skills.

Jason James, de Klerk, Irene Nelson and Carl Bessai produced and director of acquisitions Tonantzin Esparza brokered the deal with Andrew Herwitz of The Film Sales Company.

Maya’s evp of international distribution Elias Axume is handling sales on both titles on the Croisette.
