Time Warner Cable will launch Maya At The Movies on its Movies On Demand and Español On Demand channels in early February, starting with six and rising to 14 features mostly in English.
“We are proud to be a company both owned and managed by American Latinos,” Jeff Valdez, Maya co-chairman along with Moctesuma Esparza, said.
“Mocte and I don’t believe in using Latinos as poster children for business; we want to expand and empower our audience and community with content and distribution channels that speak directly to them.”
