Maya Entertainment has picked up international rights to Peter Bratt’s La Mission starring Benjamin Bratt and will introduce to buyers at EFM this week.

Erika Alexander, Jeremy Ray Valdez, Jesse Borrego and Talisa Soto Bratt star in the drama about an American neighbourhood where common issues rear their heads.

“Benjamin Bratt delivers an amazing performance in this film that we believe will resonate with audiences around the globe,” Maya’s evp of international distribution Elias Axume said.

Both Bratts produced with Alpita Patel and Tom Steyer, Kat Taylor, and Dan Nelson served as executive producers.

Christine D’Souza of Preferred Content brokered the deal on behalf of the producers and Axume negotiated on behalf of Maya.
