MGM has struck a deal with Paramount Pictures to handle worldwide distribution on Hot Tub Time Machine 2 in 2014.

The sequel to MGM’s 2010 comedy hit will see Rob Corddry, Craig Robinson and Clark Duke reprise their roles alongside new addition Adam Scott. Director Steve Pink also returns to the fray.

Josh Heald wrote the screenplay and Andrew Panay produces the story of the friends as they jump into the hot tub and inadvertently land in the future.

MGM will license select international territories.
