Monterey Media announced on Tuesday [2] that it had acquired US and Canadian rights to the dark comedy.

Between Us, directed and co-written by Slamdance co-founder Dan Mirvish, stars Julie Stiles and Taye Diggs and focuses on two couples who discover their lives have become adversely affected by money, success, sex and children.

Brent Stiefel at Votiv Films served as executive producer on the film in conjunction with Bugeater Films, Greyshack Films and Skyscraper Content.

The deal was negotiated by ICM and Scott Mansfield of Monterey Media.

Between Us is scheduled for a summer theatrical release.
