MPF&TV commences sales on Matthew Lillard rom-com Spooner

Drake Doremus directed the tale of a used car salesman living with his parents who meets the love of his life just as she announces she is leaving town.

The slate includes the girls’ boarding school drama Tanner Hall with Amy Sedaris and Chris Kattan, romantic comedy See You In September starring Justin Kirk and Estella Warren.

“MPF&TV is excited to have Spooner as part of our slate at Cannes,” Ted Chalmers, president of the film & TV division of Moving Pictures, said. “The film has incredible international sales potential, as its realistic depiction of a young man’s struggle through delayed adolescence will resonate across all audiences.”
