The distributor has picked up North American theatrical, DVD and VOD rights to the pepper&bones production Fightville.

Petra Epperlein and Michael Tucker directed and produced the film, which chronicles the lives of Mixed Martial Arts fighters like Dustin ‘The Diamond’ Poirier.

MPI Media Group evp Greg Newman brokered the deal with Submarine’s Josh Braun.

“Anyone who questions the validity of MMA as a sport needs to see this film,” Newman said. “Michael and Petra have crafted an unforgettable sports documentary that delivers a fascinating look in to the world of these young athletes who put their lives, careers and families on the line in pursuit of greatness.”
