Brazil’s largest online film and TV series subscription service adds Miramax titles to streaming service
NetMovies Entertainment, Brazil’s largest subscription service, and Miramax have entered into a multi-year licensing agreement.
Under the deal NetMovies customers will be able to stream a range of Miramax titles including Pulp Fiction, The English Patient and Kill Bill, from December 1, 2011 on a number of devices including PCs, Macs, Smart TVs, connected Blu-Ray players, iOS and Android tablets and smartphones.
“As a devoted fan of independent cinema, I could not be more excited to bring our loyal customers such classic titles as the films included in the Miramax canon. I am so happy to enter into a partnership with this company and help bring their titles to Brazilian homes. I look forward to growing this relationship even further in the future,” said Daniel Topel, NetMovies founder and CEO.
NetMovies is Brazil’s largest online film and TV series subscription service with over 35,000 titles in its library.
