New Films has acquired US and international theatrical rights to Derek Magyar’s Flying Lessons and Connie Steven’s Saving Grace B Jones.

New Films Cinema will theatrically release both films in the US and is selling foreign rights here in Cannes.

Flying Lessons stars Maggie Grace, Christine Lahti and Hal Holbrook and tells of a girl who returns to her home town to deal with some pressing issues.

Saving Grace B Jones stars Tatum O’Neal and Rylee Fanslar focuses on a tragic family’s struggles to rise out of their miserable lives.

New Films Cinema’s chief content officer Ron Gell and vice-resident of worldwide production Straw Weisman negotiated the deals for the company.
