Arirang, Once Upon a Time in Anatolia and Code Blue among new releases planned for 2012.
New Horizons Association, the distribution arm of the New Horizons International Film Festival, has picked up seven titles for distribution in Poland in 2012.
The festival has guaranteed distribution to three of its 2011 winners: The Prize (El Premio) [pictured] by Paula Markovitch (Audience Award), Arirang by Kim Ki-duk (winner of the Films on Art International Competition), Gravedigger by Sándor Kardos (Special Mention and FIPRECI Award) and It Looks Pretty From A Distance by Anna and Wilhelm Sasnal (winner of the New Polish Films Competition).
It will also release titles popular at the festival including Once Upon a Time in Anatolia by Nuri Bilge Ceylan, Code Blue by Urszula Antoniak, Hors Satan by Bruno Dumont and last year’s Berlinale Silver Bear and FIPRESCI winner The Turin Horse from Bela Tarr.
To date, New Horizons Association has distributed 14 titles in cinemas and on DVD.
