Oscilloscope Laboratories has acquired all North American rights to Joel Potrykus’ comedy.

Buzzard is set to receive its world premiere at SXSW on March 8 and will next travel to New York for the New Directors/New Films Festival at Lincoln Center. 

O-Scope plans further festival play followed by a theatrical release later this year for the scam artist story.

  • Breakthrough Entertainment has licensed home video and digital rights on Black Fawn Films’ horror tale Antisocial from director Cody Calahan to Anchor Bay Entertainment Canada. The film will open on DVD on April 22.
