3D opera Lucrezia Borgia, directed by Mike Figgis, will be broadcast on Feb 23.
Odeon, Vue, Apollo and Ormonde are among cinemas which will screen a new ENO version of Italian composer Donizetti’s 17th century opera Lucrezia Borgia.
Alternative content specialists More2Screen is distributing, with Arqiva providing the satellite connection.
The 3D film will be directed in 3D by Leaving Las Vegas director Mike Figgis. A newly commissioned film from Figgis will play during the intervals of the performance. The ENO’s former music director, Paul Daniel, will conduct.
