The Odyssey Pictures Corporation CEO said the company closed sales worth more than $2m during the recent Cannes market and secured considerable investment for the upcoming feature Hermie, Invasion Of The Bug Snatchers.

Deals on Parkland Pictures’ completed features The Heavy and The Tender Hook closed with Murena International for Russia and CIS and ANC for Turkey.

Red Media Group acquired Russia and CIS rights and AB Droits Audiovisuels took French rights to DPM’s Kings Of France.

“We had a very robust and productive outcome from our presence at Cannes this year,” Foster said. “We made multiple distribution deals for most of our titles and also brought in some serious production financing for our Hermie feature film project.
