Open Road Films has picked up its second title of Toronto after The Green Inferno, moving on North American rights with XLrator Media to John Ridley’s Jimi Hendrix tale All Is By My Side.

André Benjamin stars in the film, which charts a year in Hendrix’s life as he plies his trade in London. Hayley Atwell, Imogen Poots, and Ruth Negga. Content Media handles international sales.

Darko Entertainment’s Sean McKittrick, Jeff Culotta and Danny Bramson, Freeman Films’ Brandon Freeman and Anthony Burns, Subotica’s Tristen Orpen Lynch and Nigel Thomas of Matador Pictures produced.

Darko’s Edward H Hamm, Jr and Ridley served as executive producers. The distributors negotiated with CAA.

  • Eagle One Media has acquired worldwide rights to the Yellow Fever Production film The Last Light: An Irish Ghost Story. George Clarke’s feature shot on location in Northern Ireland. The film will open on Nov 5 on DVD, VOD and digital in North America and roll out internationally.
