Paramount Home Media Distribution (PHMD) and Universal Pictures International Entertainment (UPIE) have agreed terms for a five-year deal commencing in the second quarter.

The deal includes film and TV released on DVD and Blu-ray from Universal Pictures and other UPIE partners and covers operations, finance, sales and marketing responsibilities for all UPIE product distributed in Brazil.

Both companies’ film and television businesses in Brazil are not affected by these home entertainment agreements.
