Pathe secured a slew of deals on Stephen Frears’ Florence Foster Jenkins biopic, starring Meryl Streep and Hugh Grant, at the AFM.

Deals include Australia (eOne), Benelux (Paradiso), Czech Republic/Slovakia (AQS), Eastern Europe (Ablo), Germany (Constantin), Greece (Feelgood), Hong Kong (Sun Dream), Israel (Shani), Italy (Lucky Red), Japan (Gaga), Middle East (Gulf Film), Poland (Monolith), Scandinavia (Svensk), South Africa (M-Net) and Turkey (Fabula).

Pathé will distribute the film in the UK, France and Switzerland. 

The company is in negotiation on 14 other territories.

Streep and Grant will star in the biopic of the New York heiress and socialite who obsessively pursued her dream of becoming a great opera singer.

The film is scheduled to begin principal photography in May 2015.
