The new Los Angeles and New York-based buyer has snapped up all North American rights to Mike Newell’s Charles Dickens adaptation. Hanway is handling international sales.

Outsource Media Group will be looking to attach a distribution partner and will put up the p+a commitment, as it plans to do on its nascent slate of pre-buys and finished films.

Bradley Holmes, Harrison Kordestani and Dan Reardon are among the principals at the company, backed by corporate and individual investors including Canadian film finance firm 982 Media.
