Principal photography is underway in Los Angeles on the dance sequel Honey 2.

Honeydirector Bille Woodruff reprises his role on the story of the myriad dance styles of competing street crews. Dance forms will include b-boy, turfin’, hyphy, morphing, gliding, popping, locking, salsa and jazz, among many others.

Honey 2 is slated to premiere on DVD through Universal Pictures UK in autumn 2011. Marc Platt is serving as executive producer.

Katerina Graham, Randy Wayne, Seychelle Gabriel, Christopher “War” Martinez and Brittany Perry Russell are among the cast.

Direct-to-DVD specialist Universal Pictures UK’s credits include the smash home entertainment franchise The Land Before Time, Scorpion King 2: Rise Of A Warrior, and Beethoven’s Big Break.
