RADiUS has acquired the bulk of worldwide rights from Submarine to Daniel Junge and Kief Davidson’s Beyond The Brick: A Lego Brickumentary.
The film premiered at the Tribeca Film Festival and explores the global phenomenon of the bestselling toy and its impact on children and adult fans, known as AFOL’s (Adult Fans of Lego).
The deal does not cover France, Germany, Malaysia, Taiwan, Hong Kong, China and Brazil. Financier GEM Pictures represents those territories and will allow public companies to use shares in lieu of cash to acquire rights.
Chris Brown, Brendan Kiernan and Justin Moore-Lewy produced and executive producers are Jim Packer, Anthony Romano and Jill Wilfert.
