The Toronto-based company has acquired Canadian rights to Slasher Films’ Nothing Left To Fear and plans an autumn theatrical release.
The film is the first to be produced from Slasher Films, the horror label from Guns N’ Roses guitarist Slash and producing partners Rob Eric and Michael Williams.
Directed by Anthony Leonardi III from a script by Jonathan W C Mills, the film centres on a family that moves to a small town where a horrific series of occurrences await them. Their daughters are tormented by grisly visions and marked for a depraved ritual to keep the demon from escaping from a gateway to Hell.
“We admire Raven Banner’s innovative distribution strategy and their eclectic taste in genre storytelling,” said Eric. “We’re confident we’ve found the right home, and could not be more pleased to be partnering with them on this film.”
“Raven Banner is thrilled to be bringing Slash’s new vision of horror to Canada,” said Raven Banner managing partner Michael Paszt.
Paszt and James Fler brokered the deal on behalf of Raven Banner with Eric and Williams of Slasher Films and Harry White of international sales agent Content Media.
