Ariel Veneziano’s LA-based Recreation and Salt Lake City-based Incentive Capital will kick off their new partnership by collaborating on international distribution on the 850-plus film and TV catalogue.
The catalogue includes films such as The Return Of Super Fly starring Samuel Jackson and the documentaries Tupac: Assasination and Manufacturing Dissent: Uncovering Michael Moore.
Magus Entertainment Peter Wetherell helped to broker the deal and will play a role in future acquisitions and the exploitation of the library around the world.
“Incentive has extremely valuable assets in its film and television library, allowing us to bring a far-reaching selection of product in different genres and formats to the marketplace,” Veneziano said. “It is also a great foundation for future joint business endeavours.”
Incentive’s Joe Pia added: “This is part of a long-term distribution and acquisition strategy designed to find innovative partnerships with exceptional media veterans like Ariel and Peter.
