EXCLUSIVE: Standalone film store app FindWatchShare launches in BETA today; distributor hopes to roll out internationally and add third party films.

UK indie distributor Revolver has launched a social VOD (SoVOD) service on Facebook.

App FindWatchShare will give users the chance to discover, watch and share Revolver’s new and library titles on Facebook. Users who share the service with friends will get discounts on titles.

Currently available in the UK and Ireland, Revolver is hoping to roll out the license internationally and wants to add content from third-parties.

Revolver titles on the service include Anuvahood, Snowtown, Elite Squad, Heartbreaker and Kidulthood.

Justin Marciano, CEO at Revolver Entertainment said: “FindWatchShare was a natural progression in both our distribution and marketing strategy. We wanted to create an immersive and fun way for people to discover and access films in different ways; on their favourite devices - and when and where they want - and to reward them for it.”
