Revolver Entertainment continues to build its US release slate and has picked up rights to Bhopal: A Prayer For Rain starring Martin Sheen, Kal Penn and Mischa Barton.

Ravi Kumar directs the film, which takes place against the backdrop of the 1984 Bhopal Disaster in India when more than half a million people were exposed to poisonous gas that leaked from the Union Carbide India Limited pesticide plant, resulting in the death of more than 10,000.

The GFM Films, Sahara India Pariwar and Rising Star Entertainment film will open on November 7 following a screening at the United Nations on September 18.
