Indomina Releasing has acquired worldwide rights to the romantic road movie Idea In America to star Orlando Bloom, Cristina Capatondi, Nick Nolte and Stanley Tucci.

Cecilia Miniucchi wrote and will direct the coming-of-age tale about an adventurous Italian woman named Idea Fanti who travels across the States. Production is set to begin this autumn in California, Arizona and other US locations.

Jeffrey Coulter, Fred Roos, Claudio Saraceni and Jenny Hinckey are the producers.

Indomina’s international sales slate includes the vampire thriller Reign Of Blood with Mark Strong, Gemma Arterton, Wes Bentley and Elizabeth Hurley attached, as well as horror The Shrine and comedy Tiny Furniture.

Indomina’s debut domestic theatrical release is Yuen Woo Ping’s martial arts feature True Legend on May 13.
