Shoreline Entertainment has picked up world sales rights to La Victoria Films’ Hidden Moon starring Wes Bentley and will produce the sci-fi Probe.
Pepe Bojórquez directed the film about a young man who espies a mysterious Latin American woman at his father’s funeral and pursues her to Mexico, where he discovers her identity and realises he has fallen in love with a woman who belongs to someone else.
The cast includes Ana Serradilla, Johnathon Schaech and Linda Gray. Universal Studios distributed in Mexico and Shoreline holds rights for the rest of the world. Leslie Abell negotiated the deal with Sam Eigen and Melody Djavadi of Shoreline.
Randal Kleiser will direct Probe, about a young man who has an observation device inserted into his brain by an alien. Shoreline and producer Jonathan Sanger anticipate a late summer production start.
