Anchor Bay has acquired all US rights to Millennium Films’ Solitary Man starring Michael Douglas.

Susan Sarandon, Mary-Louise Parker, Jesse Eisenberg, Jenna Fischer, and Danny DeVito also star in the film about a car magnate whose indiscretions threaten the stability of his life.

Brian Koppelman and David Levien directed from a script by Koppelman. The film premiered in Toronto last autumn.

Anchor Bay recently acquired the thriller After.Life and its releases have included Spread, The Open Road, andBroken Lizard’s The Slammin’ Salmon.

Anchor Bay Entertainment president Bill Clark and associates Kevin Kasha and Richard Turner negotiated the deal with Avi Lerner and David Sobieraj for Nu Image.
