Sony is putting its weight behind the Amazing Spider-Man franchise and has dated the third and fourth entries for Jun 10 2016 and May 4 2018.
The Amazing Spider-Man 2 is scheduled to arrive in theatres on May 2 2014. Marc Webb will reprise his role as director.
Andrew Garfield and Emma Stone star in the superhero series.
The first film in the series reboot opened on Jul 3 2012 and grossed more than $752m worldwide.
