Roberto Busó-García’s psychological thriller will open in spring 2013. Meanwhile Grindstone Entertainment has picked up North American rights to Viking invasion tale The Darkest Day.
The Condemned (Los Condenados) centres on a mansion that returns to life when an heiress moves in to restore it as a museum in memory of her father. Strand is in advanced negotiations to license exclusive US TV rights to HBO. Co-president Jon Gerrans negotiated the deal with Busó-García.
- Grindstone Entertainment has taken North American rights to Lindisfarne Film’s Viking invasion action adventure The Darkest Day. Ryan Black negotiated the deal for Grindstone with Antony Smith of Lindisfarne Films. The Darkest Day follows a young monk and an elderly abbot who flee a Viking death squad with a religious icon.
