Summit International reports it has sold out Constantin Film and Impact Pictures’ action adventure The Three Musketeers 3D from director Paul W S Anderson.

Gaga acquired the film for Japan, TF1 / UGC will distribute in France, Rai Cinema took Italian rights, and Hoyts will release in Australia and New Zealand.

Deals also closed in: CIS (CP International), Scandinavia (Svensk), Benelux (Dutch Filmworks), Greece (Odeon), Israel (United King), Thailand (Sahamongkol), Iceland (Sam Film)

As previously announced, Summit concluded pre-sales with E1 in the UK, Aurum in Spain, Alliance in Canada, and DCA for all of Latin America. Constantin will distribute in Germany.

Principal photography will begin in August in Germany and the film will shoot entirely in 3D. Summit Entertainment will release in the US.

Christoph Waltz, Mads Mikkelsen, Milla Jovovich, Logan Lerman, Matthew MacFadyen, Ray Stevenson and Luke Evans star.
