VOD platform Sundance Selects has taken worldwide rights excluding the UK and Mexico to Zeina Durra’s political drama The Imperialists Are Still Alive!

Durra also wrote the film and produced alongside Vanessa Hope. It premiered at Sundance last year and presents a snapshot of young people living in an upper-class New York City haunted by news eports from overseas.

IFC’s senior vice-president of acquisitions and productions Arianna Bocco negotiated the deal with Andrew Herwitz of the Film Sales Company.
