Talking Drum Entertainment, which specialises in black film and TV distribution, will release the Nigerian romantic comedy FlowerGirl across UK cinemas in October.

The film is about impressionable, marriage-hungry Kemi (Damilola Adegbite) who is in a relationship with corporate go-getter Umar (Chris Attoh). With their relationship on the rocks, Kemi seeks the help of movie star Tunde (Chuks Chukwujekwu).

The film has already been a successful release in Nigeria and Ghana and has been re-edited for UK audiences.
