Principal photography will commence in June in New Mexico on Titan Worldwide Entertainment’s true-life gangster story El Chico Blanco.

Hyde Park International is handling foreign sales on the story of a white man from the barrio who becomes the head of a crime family in prison.

Carl Franklin will direct from a script by Peter Facinelli, who will star in the film. Titan Worldwide Entertainment is financing the project.

“The volatile drug world of El Chico Blanco has themes of temptation and corruption that have intrigued me for some time now,” Franklin said. “I look forward to collaborating with Peter and Titan to bring this riveting story to life.”
