Elliot Loves charts the adventures of Dominican-American Elliot Ayende as a nine year-old who is best friend to his single mother and as a 21-year-old looking for love in New York City.

VP of operations Kelly Burkhardt brokered the deal and said: “We are extremely excited to be bringing this entertainingly sexy yet incredibly endearing film to audiences worldwide! Elliot Loves has been a labor of love for director Terracino and because of his tenacity and diligence, he is the type of filmmaker we love to work with.”

“After we debuted at Miami and won the Audience Award, I was surprised by all the distribution offers we received,” Terracino said. “However, TLA Releasing was so passionate and enthusiastic about Elliot Loves, and incredibly eager to bring the film to gay and Latino audiences. I knew TLA Releasing was our true home. We shot Elliot Loves like the scrappy Latinos we are – with no money and by the skin of our teeth – and now TLA Releasing is ready to bring us out into the world.”
