Tribeca plans to release Ian Fitzgibbon’s animation-drama in theatres and on VOD in 2012.

Death Of A Superhero premiered in Toronto and stars Andy Serkis, Thomas Brodie-Sangster, Jessica Schwarz and Aisling Loftus in the modern love story involving an ordinary superhero.

Astrid Kahmke, Philipp Kreuzer and Michael Garland produced the Bavaria Pictures and Grand Pictures production.

Nick Savva of Tribeca Film brokered the deal with Stefanie Zeitler from worldwide sales agent Bavaria Film International.
