Tribeca signs UK VOD deals for titles including Greetings From Tim Buckley, Fresh Meat.

US distribution outfit Tribeca Film is looking to increase its presence in the UK digital market after striking a number of VOD deals for its festival titles.

For an eight week run from mid-April, six films in the Tribeca slate will be available on demand via Virgin Media and iTunes and on platforms including PlayStation and Xbox.

Titles in the first wave are 2013 Tribeca entries Daniel Algrant’s music biopic Greetings from Tim Buckley, starring Penn Badgley and Imogen Poots and Danny Mulheron’s Fresh Meat, as well as previous festival entries Supporting Characters, Rubberneck, Monogamy and The Wild and Wonderful Whites of West Virginia.

All except Whites are new releases in the UK.
