The executive arrives from Samuel Goldwyn Films, where she served as the manager of acquisitions and development. Tuckfield and fellow director of acquisitions Vincent Scordino will report to CEO Bill Lee.

Millennium Entertainment is wasting little time assembling its slate and recently announced the acquisition of Rampart, Trespass, Bernie and Little Birds.

“As we continue to build the company slate, it is crucial to have smart and aggressive executives like Tristen on our team,” Lee said. “Tristen’s taste, talent and experience make her a perfect complement to our existing staff.”

Tuckfield began her career as a producer’s assistant and went on to distribute AFI Conservatory thesis films.
