Danish sales outfit is handling Christian E. Christiansen’s thriller.
TrustNordisk is beginning sales at the EFM on Christian E. Christiansen’s thriller ID: A. The film is about a woman who wakes up in a river, wounded and without memory, and who then races to elude mysterious followers and recover from amnesia. The cast is led by Tuva Novotny and Flemming Enevold.
Danish director Christiansen recently directed US film The Roommate, which was No. 1 at the US box-office over the Super Bowl weekend and is still on top of the box-office charts. The thriller is produced by Screen Gems, a division of Sony, and has been released in 2,500 copies
Sales agent TrustNordisk is billing ID:A, which is currently in post-production, as a thriller in the style of the Bourne films. The producer is Louise Vesth for Zentropa Entertainments, while the film stars Tuva Novotny, Flemming Enevold, Carsten Bjørnlund, Jens Jørn Spottag and Marie Louise Ville. It will open domestically in autumn 2011.
Christiansen has directed four feature films and one short, for which he was nominated for an Oscar in 2008.
