Universal’s Social Cinema Facebook application to offer Johnny English in UK and Australia

For the first time, Universal is to offer its Facebook Social Cinema app internationally, starting with Johnny English, which will be available for rent in the UK and Australia, as well as the US. 

The Social Cinema app allows viewers to comment on and share film quotes and scenes and to see comments that friends and Johnny English Facebook fans have made while watching the film.

The film will be available via the service for 30 Facebook Credits for a 48-hour rental window. Users who rent the film will be able to pass along a ten Facebook Credit discount on the rental for five friends.

Universal has already released The Big Lebowski and Scarface via the same app in the US.
