The Torino Film Lab Collection on UniversCiné will showcase the work of the Lab, which is dedicated to first and second-time filmmakers.
French VOD platform UniversCine has struck a deal with Italian development and production organisation Torino Film Lab to show its films on the VOD service.
Among the titles will be Paz Fabrega’s Agua Fría de Mar, Michelangelo Frammartino’s The Four Times, Edwin’s Postcards from the Zoo, Aida Begić’s Children of Sarajevo and Jazmin Lopez’s Leones.
UniversCiné, a member of the EuroVoD platform network specializing in independent film, is operational in 8 European countries - Austria, Belgium, Eire, France, Germany, Poland, Spain and Switzerland.
The initiative, created in 2001 by around fifty independent French cinema producers and distributors, aims to create a “federative and collaborative model” for releasing independent films on VoD.
During the 30th Torino Film Festival, the 5th edition of the Torino Film Lab Meeting Event (November 25-27) will welcome 36 projects at pitch stage.
