The Oscar frontrunner will receive its pay-TV premiere on the streaming service rather than on traditional premium cable following a multi-year deal between the parties.

The Weinstein Company and Netflix deal closed for an undisclosed sum and will also make available for instant view in the US the Oscar nominated documentary Undefeated and a host of foreign language, documentary and other titles.

Films scheduled to appear exclusively on Netflix within one year of theatrical release include W.E., Sarah’s Key and The Intouchables.
