Wild Bunch acquires from Dixie Theatrical and has tentatively set a 2011 release date

PJ Petite and and Claudie Viguerie’s new US production and sales company Dixie Theatrical Corporation backed by Louisiana oil magnate Greg Hall has licensed German rights to its revenge thriller Julia X 3D to Wild Bunch.

The film received its market premiere last week and Wild Bunch has tentatively set a 2011 release date.

Julia X 3D follows two sisters who devise a wicked game of cat and mouse after one is abducted on a blind internet date going from bad to worse. Valerie Azlynn, Kevin Sorbo and Ving Rhames.

Pettiette directed the film from a screenplay he co-wrote with Matt Cunningham and also produced alongside Hall and Viguerie.
