Doc Week (June 15-20) will host the annual Edinburgh Pitch (June 15-17), documentary case studies, Doc In Progress consultancies, meetings with industry experts, and the Docs 360 Pitch.
The Scottish Documentary Institute and Initialize Films’ Doc Week will for the first time run alongside the Edinburgh International Film Festival (June 16-27).
Doc Week (June 15-20) will host the annual Edinburgh Pitch (June 15-17), documentary case studies, Doc In Progress consultancies, meetings with industry experts, and the Docs 360 Pitch.
Docs 360 is a new nine-month programme funded by Skillset, run by Initialize, about how to use cross-platform approaches with documentary films.
Sonja Henrici, head of development at SDI, said: “We’re really pleased to be collaborating with Initialize and EIFF on Doc Week to highlight events for documentary filmmakers at Edinburgh and showcase up and coming talent through our pitches and consultancies.”
