Fox Searchlight president Nancy Utley and The Kite Runner producer and Los Angeles Film Festival Director Rebecca Yeldham to take part in panel.

The Orange County event on Apr 1 is open to the public and will include networking, panels and lunch.

Women In Focus panelists include Mandalay Pictures president Cathy Schulman, Beastly and What Women Want producer Susan Cartsonis, Country Strong director Shana Feste and Pet Sematary director Mary Lambert.

Film Independent executive director Dawn Hudson will act as moderator as the women discuss their careers and perspective on the industry.

“The Women in Focus Conference has become one of Dodge College’s signature events, attracting marquee names year after year and providing an incredibly valuable and enlightening experience for our students,” Dodge College Dean Bob Bassett said. “We are delighted to present such an esteemed group of industry leaders as panelists at this year’s event and encourage all to attend.”
