The ten-day Miami International Film Festival (MIFF) will run from March 5-15 this year and showcase 115 films from 45 countries.
Niels Arden Oplev’s European box office smash The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo, Nicole Holofcener’s recent Sundance world premiere Please Give, and Warwick Thompson’s shortlisted Australia foreign-language Oscar hopeful Samson & Delilah (pictured) are among the selections.
Competition categories include Ibero-American, World, DOX, Cutting The Edge and Shorts. Special sections unique to MIFF include Cinema 360˚, Encuentros, REEL Education Seminar Series, Florida Focus and the inaugural Diesel Online Shorts Competition.

“Once again we are very pleased to bring the region a dynamic and provocative festival programme,” Miami Dade College president Eduardo J Padron said.
