Sales company Fortissimo Films has announced that Nelleke Driessen has been promoted to managing director of the company, based at its head office in Amsterdam. She had been the co-managing director since 2004 and joined Fortissimo as an executive in 2000.

Also, Fortissimo has promoted Nicole Mackey to executive vice president international sales and managing director of Fortissimo UK. She had been senior vice president international sales since joining Fortissimo from Capitol Films in 2004.

'Nelleke and Nicole have both played major roles in the growth of Fortissimo during the past two years,' said company co-chairmen Wouter Barendrecht and Michael J. Werner. 'With these promotions they will take on even greater responsibilities and they will become intregal to the next steps we are taking with the Company.'
