Maeva Gatineau andMichelle Krumm have been named executive vice presidents and co-heads ofacquisitions and co-productions at The Weinstein Company (TWC).
Gatineau, based in the company's UK office, and Krumm, based in the LA office, will jointly lead worldwide acquisitions activities, and will report to Bob and Harvey Weinstein.
Former acquisitions chief Agnes Mentre left TWC earlier this year and will announceher plans in the autumn.
In a statement praising Gatineau and Krumm, Harvey Weinstein paid tribute toMentre and said the brothers would love to work with her again.
Krumm will focus on TWC's North American, Asian and Australia-based live-actionand animated acquisitions, and Gatineau will focus on TWC's Europeanacquisitions and will oversee the company's activities on the internationalfilm festival circuit.
They will jointly manage the company's acquisitions team, which includes HongKong-based vice president of Asian acquisitions and co-productions Bey Logan,Genna Terranova and Michael Schaefer, who were recently promoted to vicepresidents of acquisitions, Eileen Rodriguez, who was recently promoted todirector of acquisitions, and UK-based manager of acquisitions Ben Friedman.
Krumm joined TWC in October as executive vice president of acquisitions and co-productions. Prior to TWC, she had worked at Miramax in the acquisitions department since 1997.
Gatineau joined TWC in October as executive vice president of acquisitions and co-productions. She began her career as an assistant in the UK acquisitions department at Miramax Films in 1997.
