The Toronto-based sales outfit E1 International has acquired world rights on Eric Tessier’s thriller 5150 Rue Des Ormes (5150 Elm’s Way).
The film stars Marc-Andre Grondin and is produced by Montreal’s Cirrus Communications, producers of C.R.A.Z.Y.
The company has also completed sales of Michael McGowan’s Toronto title One Week to Ascot Elite for Germany, Switzerland and Austria and the upcoming South Africa-Canada co-production The Bang Bang Club to Falcon Films for the Middle East and Strata Films for Greece.
Other sales include Lea Pool’s Mommy’s At The Hairdresser (Maman Est Chez Le Coiffeur) to Senator for Germany and Austria and Benoit Pilon’s Necessities Of Life to Umbrella for Australia and New Zealand. Australian title Beautiful was sold to Swift for French-speaking Europe.
