Film Sales Support awarded to the likes of Excuse Me [pictured], Isztambul and Chrysalis.
The European Film Promotion’s (EFP) Film Sales Support (FSS) scheme is backing promotional campaigns for seven films, and their respective sales agents, at the Shanghai International Film Festival (SIFF) which runs June 16-24.
Three of the supported films are in SIFF’s official competition, vying for the Golden Goblet: Henrik Ruben Genz’s Excuse Me (TrustNordisk), Ferenc Török’s Isztambul (Fortissimo) and Paula Ortiz’s Chrysalis (Vertice Sales).
The full list of the supported films and companies can be found on the EFP website.
Now in its ninth year, FSS is backed by the MEDIA Programme of the European Union. EFP member organisations German Films, ICAA (Spain), the Danish Film Institute and Magyar Filmunió/Division of the Hungarian National Film Fund have approved FSS funding for their respective films.
